To Our patients and the Community:

Well, it looks like our nation is getting back up on its feet and starting to return to a place we all have been anxiously waiting to see and experience again. These past 15 months have been very difficult in so many ways, and yet we have been able to get through it together. As our Governor and health care organizations (CDC, IDPH) have begun to lift restrictions and open things back up again, there remain some Guidelines that specifically affect dentistry. Most notably in the “Phase 5 Guidelines for Businesses and Venues” all individuals, including those who are fully vaccinated, must continue to wear a mask in health care settings, which include dental offices. The CDC still recommends that we continue to screen and triage everyone entering a dental facility for signs and symptoms of COVID-19. So, as we have been doing over the last 15 months, we will continue to ask that you wear a mask, and we will continue to check temperatures and ask screening questions for symptoms of COVID.  As more people are vaccinated and the risk of the disease continues to drop, we are hopeful that these remaining guidelines will also be lifted.

We will continue to exercise the same quality of infection control protocols that we have been doing for decades and most recently enhanced since the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic.  We encourage all that have not been in for a hygiene visit in the last 15 months to do so. As you know the health of our mouths plays a key role in our overall health. Call today to schedule your next visit with us.
